Most of this work was done inside agencies, under their name and their contracts, so none of these are EC Devs clients and none of them are named here. The work described is mine and the technical detail is exactly as it happened.

Recovering a hacked site, then replacing it
Their website had been compromised. The way in was a plugin years out of date and no longer used by anything on the site, still installed and still running.
I analysed the malware, traced the backdoor it had left behind and cleared all of it, then recovered the site.
Clearing it rebuilt the trust they had lost. They came back for new sites afterwards, and traffic to the site rose 48% over the following six months.

When they moved to Microsoft Dynamics as their CRM, I rebuilt how the site fed into it. That integration saved them close to £30,000 year on year.

One source of truth for the whole stock list
Stock data kept in more than one place is how listings end up disagreeing with each other.
I built a custom plugin that meets AutoTrader and eBay’s feed requirements, so the website holds the stock data and the site content, and everything else feeds from it.
They stopped paying someone to manage the listings, and the PageSpeed score went from 64 on the old site to 93 at launch.

Off Wix, onto something that actually gets found
A broken Wix brochure site doing fewer than 10 visitors a month.
Replaced with a bespoke build. It now sees more than 250 a month.
Something that is entirely mine
The projects above were done under someone else’s name. Project Your Car was not. It was a suspension and wheel geometry tool I built on my own for F-chassis MINI owners, and it is the clearest evidence I have of building something non-trivial from scratch.
