WordPress Developer in Worcestershire

I am one developer working out of Worcestershire. New sites are written by hand, no Elementor, no Divi, no page-builder scaffolding, and existing sites are looked after properly rather than left alone between redesigns.

That covers the whole county: Worcester, Malvern, Kidderminster, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Evesham, Pershore, Stourport-on-Severn and the villages in between. Most of the work happens remotely and by email, which suits both sides. Being based in the county does mean a face-to-face meeting is genuinely possible when a project warrants one, rather than a promise made by an agency three counties away.

What Worcestershire businesses usually get in touch about

Three situations come up again and again, and none of them are unusual:

• The agency that built the site has gone quiet. Emails go unanswered, nobody is sure who holds the hosting login, and the last plugin update was some time in 2023.
• The site was built in a page builder and has got slow. It looked fine at launch. Three years of plugin sprawl later it takes the best part of ten seconds to load on a phone on mobile data.
• The site works, but nobody owns it. No backups anyone has actually tested, no update schedule, and no plan for the morning it stops working.

Only the first of those usually needs a rebuild. The other two need someone competent to take the site on and keep it running, which is a much smaller bill than most people expect.

New builds, written by hand

When a rebuild is genuinely the right answer, it gets built properly: clean PHP, a real theme, and content you can edit yourself in the standard WordPress editor afterwards. Most Worcestershire businesses do not need a new website. They need the one they have kept patched, backed up, monitored and fast, on a fixed monthly fee with a real response time behind it. That is what a care plan is.

Page-builder sites are explicitly welcome here. New work does not use Elementor or Divi, but plenty of perfectly good Worcestershire businesses are running on one, and there is no sense in throwing away a site that still does its job. It gets maintained as it is.
